Through its real estate division the Albers Group focuses on project development as well as investment in high-value residential and commercial properties.

Hardturm AG has realized some major projects in Zurich West (the Limmatwest residential and business complex, the com.West office blocks), and is currently developing the Hardturm site which measures over 100,000 m2. In addition to project development, Hardturm AG manages a real estate portfolio primarely consisting of commercial buildings in major Swiss city centre locations.

At the end of the 1990s Hardturm AG has constructed 570 apartments in Vorarlberg. Of these units, 360 remained in its own portfolio. Since 2002 the centrally-located former industrial area of Bregenz has been being redeveloped in stages.
