A long-established family business

The Albers Group has been a family-owned business for 150 years, growing from a single worsted spinning mill into an international group of companies specializing in textiles and real estate.

Schoeller Textil AG and the Schoeller spinning group produce high-tech fabrics and yarns that are marketed throughout the world. The group has also been successfully building up its real estate portfolio since 1988.

The corporate units within the Albers Group operate independently in their respective markets, with the group's owners defining the overall strategy and deciding on the allocation of resources. Albers & Co. operates as a holding company for the textile and real estate divisions. In addition, it manages a portfolio of securities and has various shareholdings.
